I like the kinda reddish tint to Crateria (around the ship), and purple grape Brinstar is good in an odd sort of way. I think I need to find green Brinstar next. So far, I have 4 Energy Tanks, 50 Missiles, 15 Supers, 10 Power Bombs, Charge, Wave, Gravity, Grapple, Morph Ball, Bombs, Spring Ball, and Hi-Jump. I have found a lot of items so far, but rather than feeling spoiled, I feel smart for finding them all the hiding spots are all great so far, nothing too stupidly hidden, but not super obvious either. Who knows?) But funny enough, I had to resort to looking for help or a map in order to find out how to get into Norfair and to Draygon. (Maybe I'm just used to how things happen in hacks after having played a bunch of them since I discovered them about a year ago. With X-Ray, having a 'broken' save point and the screen trying to scroll to the right was a dead giveaway in my mind that something was back there, and the Screw Attack seemed to be very obvious to me. Personally, I didn't find the X-Ray or Screw Attack to be that difficult to find. Although it got off to a bad first impression, I think partially because some of the early rooms seemed a little rushed as far as the tilesets were concerned, the game definitely picked up quickly after that and ended up being a lot of fun for me by the end.
